Gold-coloured amber in the glass.
In the nose typical Guyana. Freshly baked vanilla rolls with raisins on top lie on oak boards rubbed with red grapes. Flowers glued with resin to sugar cane want to be picked. Candied tropical fruits garnished with freshly planed tender shavings entice with their tender-bitter scents.
Warm, soft, harmonious and simply delicious on the palate. Dipped in caramel, freshly peeled tropical fruits swim in vanilla sauce. Freshly crushed spices form small islands lined by chocolate coral reefs.
The finish is almost endless.Subtle chocolate notes remain throughout, while caramel, fruit and vanilla alternate.
A wonderful bottle of rum, unfortunately limited, just right to enjoy. Finish in the Spanish red wine barrel (Ribero del Duero Tempranillo), unfortunately without time indication.
I took this rum from my collection to offer a rarity to my guys on the annual rum night.
