59%abv unaged agricole
column still (from what i know)
Nose: strong citrus profile, very lime-y, fresh grass, very cane juicy, fermented mango, tamarind candy like spicy sour note.
Taste: Loads of citrus and acidic fresh grass, lots of fresh tropical fruits, cane juice, white pepper spiciness and bit of the tamarind candy like note.
Finish: Hot, citrus and acidic fresh grass linger for some time. Has loads of flavour to carry the high abv with grace.
Maybe the best straight style column agricole i have yet tried, not by huge margin but nevertheless, the citrus, fruit, grass and cane profile is very good and seems to get only more pronounced when mixed with pineapple and coconut for example, mixes amazingly.
Recommended as house staple agricole mixer.
That's great pleasure to have such taste without alcoholic one
Un parfum de canne à sucre bien marqué, et sec en bouche. parfait pour un ti' punch
Not as good as Pere Labat but still really nice. Easier to find in supermarket in Metropolitan France
Rhum idéal pour la réalisation de ti punch. Rhum parfumé et long en bouche
N- Humble bottling with screw cap. Fresh cut sugar cane with drops of iodine, caramel, reeds and solid alcohol heats. Boiled orange, medicinal and highly farm-y with bonfire notes, as well sorghum/chinese rice wine nuances. (20/25)
P- Medicinal and herb-y, raw toasted bitterness coat with sweet cane juice and some citrus on the fore. Pale with unpleasant spiciness. Feel some goodies has been 'taken' away. (16/25)
F- Medium, sorghum. Striped off with spirit-y remains, burnt grass, raw and narrow. (16/25)
B/B- 16/25. Nice aroma but with underwhelming taste. 59° should be a better bet.
