The Salford Rum Company Spiced

Nice rum, little dark for me. Lovely bottle, with great artwork.

Such a shame that this bottle hides a perfume-tasting rum that is honestly not very enjoyable at all. I can't understand the 7 ratings, perhaps they're stockholders...

Initially quite a bizarre taste, also a particular smell on first opening the bottle, which my wife quite appropriately said reminded her of the docks. However it has become an absolute stable of our cabinet, due to its quite reserved and balanced taste works really well with your average full sugar cola.

A very unique flavour that I’m just not sure if I like or not. Because it is so unique it is very interesting.

Around about the same quality as Rumbullion, perhaps a tiny bit better. Cloves, vanilla and a touch of ginger and cinnamon.

The best spiced rum I've tried. Good mixer. Touch of vanilla and warm spices such as nutmeg, cinnamon and ginger. Good effort.
