So far I've had only Purser's blue label as Navy style and I liked it. Now got a chance to explore more.
KD is dark, oily, fruity nutty, rich. Little alcohol burn.
CdI is light, watery, funky, flat. Medium alcohol burn.
KD is the blend of Jamaica and Guyana. Feels like in 50\50 proportion. This makes it layered, pleasant. Definitely some chocolate notes in aftertaste.
CdI is pure Jamaica and it's lightly fermented. Funk is Ok, but feels like nothing else is in there.
KD 8; CdI 7.
... Still looking for the best Navy style rum ...
Good rhum 👍 *****хороший ром по хорошей цене *****
This rum is stronger than what I usually drink, but its strength is not a negative, I like it. I feel some similarity to El Dorado rums, which might come from its Guyana side.

A spicy Guyana was combined with a spicy Jamaica rum and somehow they increased each other.
It has not become harmonious, on the contrary, with only 57%, it has become very aggressive.
The flavors are not bad on their own, the aftertaste is also good, but the way it is put together is not optimal. I think it could have been blended better.
It goes strongly in the direction of Plantation OFTD, Guyana is also clearly visible behind it.
But it has become too much of a bully for me.
There is a heavy Jamaica funk saying hello out of the glas. This is clearly a Plantation OFTD flavor. The Guyana rum is in the Background, I would say it was a PM.
It's very intensive but way too spicy.
It's not balanced enough for a blend, that's why my rating is 69 point.
I would prefer Plantation Overproof Dark rum.
