Mount Gay XO Triple Cask

An absolutely delicious rum for every occasion. A+. Too bad there's so much competition now at its current price point.

Very easy to drink. Not too strong alcohol flavor. Good to serve for guests.

A step up from their entry-level Eclipse: good enough to be sipped rather than mixed

This rum reminded me a lot of the plantation 20y anniversary edition, except this one has taste! It is a bit stronger when it goes doen, has a very nice sweet smell and a warmly after burner which is pleasant (like a high quality cognac)

Would recommended it sipping this after a nice dinner.

A very nice rum. The smokiness from aging in the whiskey and bourbon casks comes through, which sets it apart from a lot of other rums I've had. I just wish it were a bit smoother. Still good enough to sip though.

I was looking for the Mount Gay Barbados 8 years and found instead this fellow. Warm, smooth but also a nice level of alcohol.

I would rate 9.5 if I could but as I can't then it's 10. It's very very smooth, fruty, sugary and slightly oaky with a hint of banana/vanilla.

Had high hopes for this, but it really not my thing I can see why some would like it. Taste rather woody and I love the Black Barrel alot

This is a very good rum, very smooth and easy to drink. It used to be a whole lot cheaper that it should have been making it by far the best value for money, can understand why it went up considerably but so much so it's no longer my first choice
