Nice dark color, light smell, first taste is a bit harsh but after a smooth sweet taste and a strong alcohol aftertaste. Over all nothing special.
Despues de probarlo, pensaba que era una version mejorada del matarratas añejo.
Como una muerte dulce y placida.
Nada mas lejos de la realidad... fruta y jerez con tonos a frutos secos muy bien estructurado y equilibrado.
Sorpredente.
It is a Venezuelan, fairly cheap and made with sweeteners and essences, I'd guess.
Yo encuentro que le falta algo de maduración para que sea algo más suave y meloso, pero me gusta
Good taste, not to sweet, a bit spicy. I want more
Unfortunately this brand only has 2 rums for sale in Europe.
Love this Venezuelan deliciousness.
Tried this molasse based rum in Spain. Nice presence of toffee, vanilla and caramel aroma in the nose. Palate builds up on this with only minor burn. Fruity notes of overripe banana and walnuts. Good and lasting finish. In my opinion quite fair price-value level.
It is a very easy going, easy to drink rum. It is on the sweeter side. .
"It has minimal alcohol burn. It tastes a little like milky coffee and dark chocolate mixed. The finish is mostly just bitter with only a little spice."
Try to get a well lit shot from the front of the rum label

Very smooth, caramel taste, excellent for your “every day rum”... the only problem is you cannot see when you are running out as the bottle is too dark!!!
