Captain Morgan Parrot Bay Coconut

When I first started drinking rums. My first bottle way Parrot Bay but back then it still had the good Captain on it. I had just turn 21 and had to get it. Placing then I thought it was awesome. Over the years I still enjoy it to this day. I mainly drink it time to time for nostalgia. It also pushed in my search for more rums. It is a good casual rum to drink but there are better ones to be found.

Great drink and go to drink for collage kids on spring break. Would never buy would never drink again unless holed up during a winter storm with nothing else in house

as fake rums go this is one of the better ones great for summer deck party's

This rum isn't overly flavorful or great. But it's meant to be a mixer and at the price it's decent at doing that

If you like coconut and a sweet rum, this is it! Also great for making pina coladas!

In a head to head comparison I preferred Malibu coconut rum.

Nasty aftertaste that even fruit juice could hide.
Edit: OK after attending a party offering other mixed drinks with "coconut rum", I think I just don't like coconut flavored rums. I like coconut, but to me all these taste fake.

I just love sipping this stuff while hanging out with some friends or listening to music. It's so stupidly sweet that i can't help but smile. Even if it's only 42 proof it can sneak up on you because it's like drinking candy. I can't explain it, but i like this at room temperature or very slightly chilled. If you want some real kick and plan to mix i suggest getting the 90 proof version. It tastes nearly identical but will knock your socks off. I prefer the 90 proof on the rocks. The melting ice just helps it go down a little better.

Not as good as Malibu but is servicable. Awesome with pineapple juice.

Good for mixed drinks or milk shakes. Smooth and distinctive coconut taste, quite appealing bottle too.
