I recently had the pleasure of savoring a 15-year aged rum that left me utterly impressed. This rich and complex rum was an absolute delight to the senses, from the moment I poured it into my glass to the last lingering sip.
The aroma of this rum was deeply enticing, with notes of vanilla, oak, and caramel that filled the air. As I took my first sip, I was immediately struck by the smooth, luxurious texture of the rum, which coated my palate with a warm, velvety sensation.I tasted hints of molasses, dried fruit, and spices, all perfectly balanced with a subtle sweetness that never became overpowering.
Overall, I would highly recommend this 15-year aged rum to anyone who appreciates a well-crafted spirit.
Burnt caramel, oak a little smoky. I like this one
This awesome guy from Mexico is a blend of Agricole and Molasses rums then aged 15 years in white oak barrels. You get a mellow blend of toffee, spicy chocolate and ginger and was genuinely pleasant on the rocks.
It's definitely a step up from the 10y option, but still a mixing rum in my opinion, the 20y is better
About as good as the 20yr. Can't really taste the difference. Great depth.
This is very similar to the 10 year but you gain more layers, more smoothness and also a much longer tasting pallete.
You get the same flavours of plum, raisin, cherry, oak, vanillar but then some chocolate, herbal notes and much more going on. I am not a pro at tasting but I have tried many other rums. For my personal preference. I like this more than Diplomatico, Ron Zacapa 23 and XO. Planatation 20th and many more. This rum has so far been a stand out for me. Truly worth the price
This rum is quite a varied taste wise one sip you will get a variety of flavours from dark chocolate to caramel vanilla coffee honey oak even liquorice and when it goes down will be varied to from quite dry to quite sweet
After having the 10 year I thought I would try the 15 year. Again a very nice rum to sip. Slightly smoother then the 10 year witt the taste of molasses and spices that hit you pallet, with a nice smoky woody taste.
The nose is quite sweet and very rich.
"Itβs a very spicy with notes of Tumeric and Curry Powder."
Try to get a well lit shot from the front of the rum label

Molasses, sugarcane and old oak followed by burnt caramel. Its heavier on the nose than the 10 year old and the taste is more spicy and has more woody depth while the 10 year has more caramel. Added sugar? most likely but I don`t know.
