Does anyone recognize this bottle of pusser's rum?
Hello from Greece fellow rum drinkers!
I've ordered the classic blue label Pusser's navy rum but they mistakenly sent me a red one.
What makes me a bit reluctant is that i can't find the exact same labels of the bottle (via google images search).
I can find the label of the bottle's neck on blue pusser's but i can't find it in red.
Does anyone have a clue about it?

It's a little bit hard to see on your picture, but I suppose it's at ABV 42%. If that's the case it's the American version of the Blue label which is quite rare, in Europe at least.The label can differ a bit, but you find it here on the site called Red Label.

I suppose that this is the case because the shop owner told me that its the blue that comes with this label.
Anyway i am quite sure that its somewhat different tastewise because it is not so round and smooth as the blue label.
I've never seen that red label in the US, I have bought many over the years and all have been blue.

The Red Label (42%) is an old version of today's US version of the Blue Label. Today is also the US version labeled with a blue label, but at 42% instead of 40% that the Blue Label has in Europe.
Not sure I can add much more, other than Pussers was my favorite rum in the 70- 80's in US. It was slightly over proof, I don't remember the color of the label, and then the changed it completely to a different blend at 40%. I wrote to them and confirmed everything they said most customers liked the new blend, I think it had to do with using up their supply of the blend from Trinidad, possible from Caroni. I ended up boycotting it for at least 20 years, but came back. They did the same thing with the old 15 year orange label about 5 years ago, which was an incredible rum. Now I only find it at auction though the 50th anniversary black bottle is close
