New events feature + SF meetup 21 June
I've always wanted to know more about rum events in my local area, so recently we've been working on an 'events' feature for the RR community.
It's still a work in progress, but I wanted to test it out by holding a small gathering at Smuggler's Cove for anyone who happens to live in the Bay Area and free 21st June as I'm in town for a few days.

Hopefully in the coming days/weeks we'll fully launch and any member will be able to host their own rum social. Next we should also have a stream of events including rumfests.
Feel free to share your thoughts on the idea in general and/or the event page itself. Like I said, still a work in progress, hopefully it will be a nice way for members to meet in the future.

I like the idea, quite a bit! Alas, I'm not availble on that day, and while I am in the Bay Area, I avoid SF like the plague. Other BA locations? Might work!

I was there with a few friends, I didn't run into anyone from RR but at the same time realized when I showed up I'm not sure how I would have actually found them :)
Would be great to get a few European meet-ups going, maybe one in London the next few months?
When the new location feature is live anyone will be able to host a rum meet-up, I'm excited to get that up and running.
Have you been yet to Dr. Funk in San Jose?
