A new Kirkland Panama Rum
I went to Costco today and was happy to find the old Panama Rum back on the shelf... but it wasn't!
While the bottles look identical, the previous version was Kirkland Barrel Aged Panama 15-year. The new one is Kirkland Port Cask Finished Panama 12-Year. It’s also 43% ABV instead of 40%.
“The Kirkland Signature Port Cask Finished Rum has been aged in the traditional manner in American oak barrels followed by a second maturation in Port Casks which adds an additional layer of complexity to the rum.”
I haven't opened this yet, but it sounds better than the previous one. I didn't want to miss it as I have the Guatemalan (so far anyway).
I figured at $21.69 for a 750ml bottle, some of you might want to snag aone quickly as well.

Edit: Just realized I can start a new entry here.
My review...
My Costco has not had it when Im there. Looking forward to finding / trying it.
What you can do is go to their delivery site and enter a deliver address of local Costcos near you instead of your own address. It will make sure that's where the delivery comes from and let you know something is in stock without having to drive there.
Kirkland Signature 12 Years Aged Port Rum, Panama, 750 ml
(You can also call them and ask.)
Any good?
Yeah. I liked it a bunch, as have a lot of other people.
Haven't finished my bottle, but will definitely buy a spare to set aside.
